The company ranked No. 1077 in 2022 Inc. 5000 list, up over 150 points since the company debuted on the list in 2020

Wilmington, N.C. 26 August 2022 – Last week, Catalyst Clinical Research, a market-leading provider of clinical research services, was named in the 2022 Inc. 5000 list of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies for the third consecutive year. Catalyst was in the top 25% of companies listed, ranking at 1077.

This follows the recognition from Inc. Magazine in May this year where Catalyst were named Best Places to Work for 2022. These two accolades showcase Catalyst as an organization that is growing whilst ensuring a strong focus on performance and a people first culture.

CEO Nick Dyer commented, “we have been able to grow, attract and retain people because we’ve deliberately focused on creating a strong people-first value-driven culture. This has resulted in a we care, we perform culture which differentiates us from our competitors and continues our growth trajectory.”

These two awards follow Catalyst’s European expansion in May of this year. Leaders within the organization are delighted with the honors and feel the expansion is a byproduct of championing its core values and working to partner with organizations with similar values. Melissa Church, Senior Vice President, Strategy & Solutions adds, “We are thrilled to continue our company growth by moving into this strategically important region. The enthusiasm shown by our employees and clients is very encouraging and we will continue to deliver per our core values globally. Our team remain committed to offering flexible and collaborative solutions whilst listening to both our clients and employees.”

Recognition on the Inc. 5000 list highlights the unprecedented growth of the organization and the industry. Catalyst was one of 37 North Carolina based companies and one of seven Wilmington-based companies on the list, reiterating CNBC’s recent title of “Best State for Business 2022.”

Founded in 2013, Catalyst grew from one North Carolina-based location to five locations around the world. In the most recent calendar year, Catalyst reported approximately a 57% increase in revenue from the previous period and grew its employee headcount by 33%.
