Melanie Dyer
For more than 34 years, Melanie Dyer has worked in clinical research, building on her experiences at each turn. She started as a data entry operator at a large pharmaceutical company, which led to outsourcing opportunities and more career growth.
Throughout the years Melanie has built on her experiences to help grow clinical research organizations (CROs), which has led her into functional service provider (FSP) relationships with many wonderful organizations to strengthen their data management.
Melanie’s focus is centered around the Catalyst Core Values and leadership, not only to our Internal organization but with our external partnerships.
Each day brings her endless possibilities, often fueled by coffee, but even more often encouraged by the culture at Catalyst, which she shares with her team.
“I always tell my team ‘We got this’. I think it is important for people to understand their worth and that everyone brings something to the table,” Melanie says. “We need to capitalize on those strengths and deliver to our sponsors.”
Melanie emphasizes that Catalyst Flex provides options. It is never one size fits all. We need to sit down with each sponsor to listen and understand needs, then work with them to develop a plan that fits their vision and model.
“Clients should be able to trust that the FSP teams they pick will be completely transparent and work in a true partnership fashion,” Melanie says. “It’s all about communication. I want our sponsors to know at the end of the day they will be taken care of.”
