Assisting a Large Global Sponsor for Oncology Studies

When an exodus of staff challenged a long-term client, the large, global pharmaceutical company approached Catalyst Flex for functional service provider (FSP) assistance. The client’s need was for a team of 12 remote personnel based in the US and the UK. The initial work supported 19 individual studies across multiple oncology indications and Phases I, II, and III. The team members used the client’s systems and processes.

Catalyst Flex collaborated with and listened to the client to truly understand all needs, initially engaging a project manager, senior clinical research associate (CRA), clinical trial coordinator, and clinical trial manager to work remotely. The Catalyst Flex professionals integrated seamlessly into the existing client structure, executed required assignments, and became integral members of the client’s operating teams. In addition, Catalyst Flex instituted an Executive Oversight Committee with the client, which ensured a collaborative environment to mitigate any issues and proactively provide a customized, flexible solution to meet our client’s changing priorities.
