Catalyst Among Highest Scoring Businesses on Inc. Magazine’s List of Best Workplaces for 2023

June 19, 2023

Catalyst Clinical Research Joins Annual List for Second Year

Wilmington, N.C., 19 June 2023 – Catalyst Clinical Research, a market-leading provider of clinical research services, has been named to Inc. magazine’s annual Best Workplaces list, a comprehensive measurement of American companies that have excelled in creating exceptional workplaces and company culture. This is Catalyst’s second consecutive year on Inc.’s Best Workplaces list.

After collecting data from thousands of submissions, Inc. selected 591 honorees for this year’s list. Each company nominated took part in an employee survey, conducted by Quantum Workplace, which included topics such as management effectiveness, perks, fostering employee growth, and overall company culture. The organizations’ benefits were also audited to determine overall score and ranking.

Founded in 2013, Catalyst employs nearly 500 clinical research professionals and nearly 400 contractors across the United States, Europe, and Asia Pacific. Three-quarters of Catalyst’s employees participated in the survey, which generated an impressive 95 percent total engagement score.

“We often refer to Catalyst as a great experiment, a CRO that prioritizes its people and puts culture above all,” said Nick Dyer, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Catalyst Clinical Research. “It’s deliberate. Our culture is rooted in our values – collaboration, commitment, flexibility, learning, and listening. They drive our interactions with one another and with our customers. Our values ensure we can deliver on our purpose, which is to inspire people to design and deliver better clinical trials.”

“This last year, we have made strides in operationalizing Catalyst Core Culture, our “C3,” to further embed it in our clinical solutions and partnerships,” Dyer continued. “It’s why our employees are so highly engaged and why we can again be recognized as a Best Workplace.”

“Being named to Best Workplaces is an honor that only a small fraction of companies have been able to claim,” says Inc. editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. “Proving to the world that you’re a magnet for talent and have a culture that keeps teams engaged, productive, and proud to come to work is a truly remarkable achievement.”

Inc.’s annual Best Workplaces list is featured in the May/June 2023 issue, which hits newsstands on May 16, 2023, and is prominently featured on Inc.com.
