The Triangle Business Journal’s “Fast 50” List Salutes High-Growth, Privately Owned Companies
Raleigh, NC, 2 November 2021 – Catalyst Clinical Research has ranked number 40 on the Triangle Business Journal’s (TBJ) 2021 list of fastest 50 growing companies for the second consecutive year and fifth time with legacy companies Triangle Biostatistics and Catalyst Clinical Research having both been named in years prior. This designation recognizes the fastest-growing privately held companies in the Research Triangle region.
A clinical development organization providing customizable clinical research solutions to the global biopharmaceutical industry, Catalyst Clinical Research has offices in Raleigh and Wilmington, NC, Clinton CT, as well as in the European Union.
Catalyst CEO Nick Dyer said the Fast 50 ranking is another metric of success highlighting the company’s growth trajectory during the past year. “Being recognized for a second consecutive year is important to us because it demonstrates the success of our people-first culture and flexible, customer-focused business model,” Dyer said. “Every organization celebrates teamwork and collaboration but, we truly remain guided by our core values and dependent on daily feedback from our teams. Based on what we learn, we adjust priorities to shift our focus when necessary.
“As a result, this has been another significant year of global growth and building a network for long-term success,” he added.
Senior Vice President of Resourcing Operations Kathy Bradrick said the Triangle Business Journal’s recognition was particularly important during a year in which COVID-19 affected the progress of clinical trials and other biopharmaceutical operations. “This has been a particularly demanding year because of the coronavirus,” Bradrick said.
Both Dyer and Bradrick reiterated the company’s commitment to the Research Triangle Park area. “This designation is important to our team,” said Badrick, who is based in Raleigh. “We will continue to be an engaged, corporate citizen of the Triangle area.”
Companies eligible for the Fast 50 designation must meet several criteria, including:
- Independent and privately held
- Based and headquartered in one of the 16 counties that comprise the Triangle region: Chatham, Durham, Edgecombe, Franklin, Granville, Harnett, Johnston, Lee, Moore, Nash, Orange, Person, Vance, Wake, Warren and Wilson
- Completed three full years of operation by December 31, 2019 with revenue of at least $10 million in 2019
