At Catalyst, our company culture is rooted in our people-first foundational belief and a desire to do the right thing. From our philanthropy and volunteering to our sustainability initiatives, we strive to collaborate openly and inclusively for the best impact on oncology research and support communities as well as the communities in which we live, work, and play. This year, we partnered with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for our corporate philanthropy efforts for 2021 to do just that.
September was Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and in conjunction with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital – The Carolinas, Catalyst participated in a big way. As a proud sponsor of the St. Jude Walk/Run – Triangle, NC, our team members honored and supported those diagnosed with childhood cancer as participants in the virtual walk/run event on Saturday, September 25. In addition to walking or running the 3.1 miles for childhood cancer awareness, our four corporate teams raised more than $10,000 towards the overall fundraising efforts for St. Jude’s. Together with our corporate sponsorship, we are proud to announce the efforts of the Catalyst team resulting in a final fundraising total of $17,700 contributing to the $122,000 total raised by the Triangle chapter for St. Jude’s!
Today, we recognize and thank our corporate team members and their supporters for this outstanding accomplishment.
If you missed it, be sure to see how our team members raised money for the cause through efforts like PJammin’ for kids with cancer – a great way to raise awareness about childhood cancer and to stand with those children battling the disease.
While September closes, Catalyst remains committed to supporting and fighting alongside all cancer warriors and survivors year-round with the help of amazing organizations like St. Jude. Together, we continue to help cure more than 400,000 children and adolescents diagnosed with cancer each year.
