IO360° Immuno-Oncology Conference 2023
Join us in New York as we return to excitement of face-to-face meetings and the new networking opportunities. We are delighted to be exhibiting at IO360°. An event which offers an unparalleled opportunity to hear from stakeholders representing both the science and business communities who report on the latest data impacting IO to fight a wider range of cancers.
In a first for Catalyst we are both exhibiting and speaking at the event. Senior Site Activation Manager, Caroline Owen will be joining a topic-driven panel discussion. Caroline has been in the industry for 10 years supporting clinical trials from award to CSR delivery and now focuses on site ID and feasibility and study start-up within the Central Site Services department. Where we will be discussing: Developing a Strategic Diversity and Inclusion Plan and Practical Execution in Clinical Trials. This panel will review the FDA guidance for diversity in clinical trials requires that a diversity plan be created and shared up front reflecting a certain percentage of diverse populations. However, recruiting diverse populations in trials is still difficult. Having a plan that requires a certain percentage of diverse populations and actually achieving this continues to be an operational challenge.
Key topics are set to include:
- Updates on the FDA Guidance and requirements for diversity plans
- How do we translate the requirements in these development plans?
- What do those development elements look like?
- What is the practical execution for this?
- How to partner with community hospitals to help recruit diverse populations
We look forward to meeting you at the event and hope you will be able to attend the panel session. Catalyst Oncology supports our clients in the most cost-effective manner using quality data to facilitate decision-making. Bringing effective therapies to market as fast as possible is our mission because we know that every second counts for patients and their families living with cancer.
