Global Clinical Development Organization Ranked No. 934 for 2021

Wilmington, NC, 17 August 2021  – For the second consecutive year, Wilmington-headquartered Catalyst Clinical Research is ranked among the Inc. 5000’s list of fastest-growing private companies in America, this time landing in the top 1000 companies. Catalyst ranked number 934 on the 2021 list; during 2020, Catalyst ranked 1235.

Recognition on the Inc. 5000 list highlights the unprecedented growth of the organization. During the past three years, the company added more than 240 jobs and increased revenue upwards of 500% through the end of 2020. Additionally, with the recent expansion of its global oncology, functional, and resourcing services, Catalyst remains firmly positioned for continued growth through its newly branded solution offerings, Catalyst Flex and Catalyst Oncology.

Founded in 2013, Catalyst grew from one North Carolina-based location to six locations with worldwide reach. Catalyst reported more than $72M in calendar year proforma revenue for 2020. Much of the company’s upward trajectory can be attributed to its dedicated teams, growing customer base, and continuation of its flexible, high-quality service delivery model.

“The 2021 Inc. 5000 list feels like one of the most important rosters of companies ever compiled,” says Scott Omelianuk, editor-in-chief of Inc. “Building one of the fastest-growing companies in America in any year is a remarkable achievement. Building one in the crisis we’ve lived through is just plain amazing. This kind of accomplishment comes with hard work, smart pivots, great leadership, and the help of a whole lot of people.”

“To be recognized for a second consecutive year in this influential ranking is directly related to the commitment of the entire Catalyst team,” says Nick Dyer, Chief Executive Officer for Catalyst. “Our continued growth is a direct result of our focus on employees and culture, commitment to providing excellent service to our loyal customers, and sustaining relationships with our trusted partners. We look forward to continuing our commitment to deliver high-quality services to the global biopharmaceutical market.”
